Today’s Designer’s Choice Challenge is a fun Color Challenge! This week Repeat Rock Star, Robin Kirkpatrick is challenging you all to create a card using these three colors… kraft, robin’s egg blue (but of course! 😉) and rust. Plus you may use one neutral color of your choice… white, ivory, brown or black.
Check out this gorgeous card Robin created to get us started. These colors really work fabulously with this image don’t they?!
So a few days ago Robin shared this inspiration card with her fellow Rock Stars and asked them to create their own cards using her chosen colors. Check out all the fantastic cards they came up with!
Now we’d love for you to play along with us!
Here are all the details…
1. Create any card using these three colors… kraft, robin’s egg blue and rust. Plus you may also use one neutral color of your choice… white, ivory, brown or black. Remember, your card does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would reeeally love to see them! 😀 Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!
2. Post your DCC card on your blog or online gallery and be sure to reference Repeat Impressions DCC427 Designer’s Choice Challenge. Then link it here with the inlinkz widget below. (Please provide a direct link to your post, not the entire blog.)
3. Submissions will be accepted until Tuesday, May 10th at 5PM EST.
4. On May 11th we will provide you with a new DCC to play along with. After we wrap up the May challenges we’ll announce the winner of our May DCC’s. For this challenge the winner will receive any one unmounted sheet of stamps of their choice!
We’re so pleased with how many of you participated in our first two Designer’s Choice Challenges! 😀 Thank you so much and please keep those cards coming! We love seeing all your creations!
And now it’s time to reveal the winner for April. Our friends at random.org have selected… Janice Melton! Congratulations Janice!! You just won an unmounted sheet of rubber stamps… any sheet of your choice! Please leave a comment here and I will contact you on how to make your selection.
Don’t forget… we also have a Sketch Challenge going on right now too. If you haven’t uploaded your card yet there’s still plenty of time to play along. Why not stamp up a card this weekend! Submissions are open until May 3rd at 5pm EST. Please follow this link to my A2011 Sketch Card Challenge post for all the details and inspiration.
Thanks so much for spending time with us this week! We hope we’ve inspired you to get creative and look forward to seeing your challenge cards linked here very soon!
