Yippee! It’s Wednesday and time to get inspired again with a new Sketch Challenge. I designed the card layout shown here and then asked our Rock Stars to put their own spin on it.

And now it’s your turn! The rules are really simple… Your card doesn’t even have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would really love to see them!

We will be accepting submissions to this M1612 Sketch Challenge until 5pm EST on May 29th. All participants will be automatically entered into our random drawing. So do we have any Massachusetts readers out there? Bill and I and our trailer full of stamps are headed just slightly south tomorrow for the StampScrapArtTour show in Fitchburg, MA. It’s wonderful to finally have a show so close to home! We’ll be at the CoCo Key Water Resort (formerly the Courtyard Fitchburg) this Saturday and Sunday. If you are planning to attend I hope you will come by and see us!
This a smaller, more intimate show, but definitely worth the trip! Now is your chance to visit with a great variety of vendors who you won’t see at the West Springfield show. Please be sure to come out for this rare opportunity. It’s been 5 years since Repeat Impressions and the majority of these other wonderful vendors have made themselves available in the New England area.

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend and wonderful Mother’s Day. Yesterday we went out for a nice dinner with my sister and her kids to celebrate Mother’s Day and my sister’s upcoming birthday. I love spending time with my peeps. We need to make time to do that more often!

Repeat Impressions
Surprise! I don’t usually post on Thursdays but today we have something to celebrate. We’re officially releasing a NEW stamp series so we’re having a blog hop to show off some of the new images… and give you an opportunity to win the stamps! Woohoo!!
I decided to call this new series Big Boys Toys. These stamps are great for Dads, grads, and the adventurous at heart. Images include airplanes with banner messages to pull behind them, fun hot air balloons, a couple of classic cars and a motorcycle. And of course we also have some great sentiments to pair with all of them.

The Rock Star’s have been having fun with these new stamps! You won’t want to miss a thing. To participate in the hop all you have to do is visit the blogs of all our Rock Stars. (I have provided their links below, but do be sure to refer to their RI Blog Hop posts if you are joining in later in the weekend.) On each blog, you will find a key word. After you collect all the words, email me (wendy@repeatimpressions.com) with all the words to be eligible for the blog candy. And if you can use all the words to create the correct phrase, you will have earned yourself TWO chances for the blog candy!
You must complete the hop and email me all the words and/or the phrase no later than 5pm eastern time on Sunday, 5/13. The blog candy for this hop… an unmounted sheet of all the new Big Boys Toys stamps of course! Random.org will do the honors and then I will announce the winner in my Stamp of the Week post on Monday.
I think you will really enjoy this hop. The Rock Stars have created some wonderful cards to introduce the new line.

It’s Wednesday again and time to get inspired! We have a really great Designer’s Choice Challenge for you today! This time around Repeat Rock Star, Dawn Bennett, is challenging you all to create a Double Dutch Fold card. If you haven’t made one before, Dawn suggests checking out this tutorial on Splitcoast. Look at this fabulously sweet card Dawn created to get us all started.

So a few days ago Dawn shared this inspiration card with her fellow Rock Stars and asked them to create their own Double Dutch Fold cards. Check out all the fantastic cards they came up with! Yeah, that’s why I call them my Rock Stars.

3. Submissions will be accepted until Tuesday, May 22nd at 5PM EST.
4. On May 23rd we will introduce a new Designer’s Choice Challenge (DCC) to play along with and after we wrap up that challenge we will announce the winner for May. For this challenge the winner will receive any one unmounted sheet of stamps of their choice!
