Good Morning stamping friends! ¬†Today for the Project of the Week I’ll show you how to make a really super fast card with only¬†your paper trimmer or exacto knife, ruler and your favorite¬†Repeat Impressions¬†sentiment stamp.

List of supplies:
paper trimmer (or exacto knife)
ruler
paper

Cut two parallel lines the width of the decorative paper you want to use on the front of your folded card, using the exacto knife or paper trimmer.

Center your and stamp the sentiment on the slit.

potw32717-jh4

Insert the decorative paper into the slit.

Here are a few cards made in less than 5 minutes.  Soooo quick and easy!  The first one uses a piece of decorative paper and the Happy Spring sentiment.  The second used a piece of printed acetate and Celebrating you sentiment.  The last one I used a piece of dry embossed vellum and the Thank you sentiment with the sentiment heat embossed with white embossing powder.

This is a really fast way to make a card – hope you enjoy trying your hand at this technique. Have a happy stamping day!

Happy Friday everyone! As you know, I don’t usually post on Fridays, but I have some special RI Rock Star links to share with you today and I didn’t want you to miss out.

I am so blessed!! Not only do I have the most talented ladies on my Design Team, they are also among the sweetest and most thoughtful¬†women I know. (And I’ve only had the pleasure of meeting two of them in person.) I can hardly believe all the birthday love they have showered upon me this week!

So many wonderful surprises!! I’ve received several of their lovely cards in the mail… they have arranged a birthday dinner for me at my favorite local restaurant tonight… and a little birdie told me that they’ve planned a birthday blog hop today in my honor too. Wow!! So much love!!! I’m not sure what I did to deserve all this, but I truly appreciate their kindness and generosity and feel so very fortunate to have them all in my life.

I hope you will join in and hop along with me to see what fabulous¬†things they have created for my birthday celebration today. And please be sure to leave them all some love in the comments too. Here’s the line up…
