Happy Friday everyone! I don’t usually post on Fridays but today we have something to celebrate! I recently released a new series of summer stamps so we’re having a blog hop to show off some of the new images… and give you an opportunity to win the stamps!
I created the card shown here using my two new butterfly stamps and a few of my old favorites too. I’ve been teaching a Side Step style card at the shows for several months. So many people asked for it that we now have made these cards available pre-cut and pre-scored. They have been selling well at our last two shows and will be available to our online customers sometime next week. The new stamps are all available now!

When I showed my niece, Adriana, the new series she immediately had the idea to use the lightning bug images on one of our spinner cards. What a great idea! Let me tell you, this 10 year old is a real smarty pants! 
Here’s the card she came up with. Also, although it’s really hard to see in the photograph, she used Spica Glitter Pens by Copic to color the image. What girl doesn’t like a little sparkle?! We just started carrying these pens at the shows and they will be added to Repeat’s online store sometime next week also.

The Rock Star’s have been having fun with the new stamps too! You won’t want to miss a thing. To participate in the hop all you have to do is visit the blogs of all our Rock Stars. (I have provided their links below, but do be sure to refer to their RI Blog Hop posts if you are joining in later in the week.) On each blog, you will find a key word. After you collect all the words, email me (wendy@repeatimpressions.com) with all the words to be eligible for the blog candy. And if you can use all the words to create the correct phrase, you will have earned yourself TWO chances for the blog candy!
You must complete the hop and email me all the words and/or the phrase no later than 8pm eastern time on Tuesday, 7/19. The blog candy for this hop… an unmounted sheet of the new Summer stamps of course! I will announce the winner of the blog candy in my Wednesday blog post.

Repeat Impressions
Thank you to all of you who participated in our latest blog hop. And a big round of applause to those few who took the time to celebrate our First Blogaversary by creating a card for the occasion too!

This little snippet from Makiko’s card sums it up pretty well… we’re jumping for joy here! The House That Stamps Built has reached a milestone today… it’s our blogaversary! That’s right, it was one year ago today that I dipped my toe into the blogging pool. Since that time we’ve assembled a fantastic Design Team, hosted 27 card challenges, given away hundreds of dollars in rubber stamps and made lots of new stamping friends along the way. My how time flies when you’re having fun!

Happy Wednesday! Welcome to another exciting day at The House That Stamps Built. We had so much fun last week with our first blog hop that we’ve decided to do it again! And… we’re giving you a sneak peek at yet another NEW series of Christmas stamps! Can you believe it?!

Speaking of unmounted sheets… one of our lucky blog hoppers is about to win a sheet of the Christmas Penguins just for playing along with our little game. After collecting all the key words from each blog the correct phrase was “Visit us again Wednesday for another new stamp release hop.”
