Yes, it’s my favorite day of the week again! It’s WHAT IF? Wednesday and time for a new sketch challenge! As usual I designed the card layout shown here and then asked our Rock Stars to have some fun with it. We’ll check out all their fabulous cards in just a moment.
Today we’re mixing it up a little. We have a guest artist joining us this month for our Sketch Challenges! Please welcome Ruza Rebel. You may recognize Ruza’s work as she is a regular participant (and lucky winner) in our weekly challenges. Last month I had the pleasure of meeting Ruza in person at the stamp show we did in Rockford, IL. I asked Ruza if she would like to join us for a couple of challenges and she was thrilled to be an honorary Rock Star for April.
Ruza submitted two cards for this week’s challenge and asked me to choose which one to post. It was too hard to decide. She did such a great job I thought we should share both of them with you!
And here are all the wonderful cards the Rock Stars have created for your inspiration. Please be sure to visit their individual blogs for details and don’t forget to leave them a little love too. We all look forward to your comments!
And now it’s your turn! The rules are really simple… Your card doesn’t even have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would really love to see them! Plus you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions! Simply create a card based on my sketch, upload your card to your blog or Splitcoast gallery, then link your card here to this post by clicking on the little blue button below.
We will be accepting submissions to this A611 Sketch Challenge until 5pm EST on April 19th. All participants will be automatically entered into our random drawing. Then on April 20th we will post a new challenge. When that challenge wraps up in May we will announce the winner from our April challenges. One lucky person will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate!
So what are you waiting for?! Why not play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations! When you are ready to share your card, please add the direct link to your entry using the link button below. And please be sure to reference Repeat Impressions Sketch A611 in your blog or gallery posting.
Before I sign off we need to announce the winner of our March WIW Sketch Challenges! As usual, we let random.org select the lucky recipient of our $25 Gift Certificate. And this time that person is… Christy Dillman! Congratulations, Christy and happy shopping! Please leave a comment on this post and I will get your certificate on it’s way.
And lastly, a friendly reminder… our first Designer’s Choice Challenge wraps up on April 12th. We’re very excited about all the great cards that have been uploaded so far! If you haven’t submitted a card yet it’s still not too late. Please follow this link to my DCC330 Designer’s Choice Challenge post for the inspiration card and all the details!
Thank you so much for visiting with us this week! We hope you’ve been inspired to play along with us and look forward to seeing your masterpiece linked here soon!
Today we’re sharing a couple of cards from guest artist, Janet Bagnall. I met Janet when she came to shop in our booth at the convention in Columbia, SC last year. She’s a very sweet person and left quite an impression on me. No pun intended!
Janet attended the SC show again this past February and stopped by for another visit. We got to chatting about my plans for Repeat’s blog. In addition to my dream of spotlighting a new Design Team, Stamp of the Week, and challenges, I spoke about wanting to share some of the projects created by Repeat’s talented customers too. Janet was kind enough to agree to be my first victim… oops, I mean, guest artist!
She recently created these lovely, Springy cards for us with a Mother’s Day theme. And what better time to share them with all of you! This first card features our 904-L, Daffodils and 1137-E, Mother’s Day stamps.
You can get to know Janet a little better and see what else she’s been creating by visiting her blog, Life Full of Sunflowers.
Thank you for visiting today. And don’t forget to stop by again on Monday when the Rock Stars bring you our next Stamp of the Week feature.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend and a very Happy Mother’s Day!
