Aaah… Wednesday. My favorite blogging day of the week. Challenge days are always so much fun! I designed a simple sketch for you today and can’t wait to see what you will do with it.

Happy May Day! We have lots to share with you today as we ring in this new month… a new challenge, a challenge winner, a new guest artist, and a fond farewell.
First… please help us in welcoming Sarah Preston. Sarah will be joining the RI Rock Stars for our challenges all month. I asked Sarah to tell us a little about herself and this is what she had to say…
“I live in Michigan with my husband of 22 years. We have a 21 year old son who is away at college most of the year. I work part time at the local public school as a cook.
I have been stamping and making cards for close to 25 years. My style is more cutesy than anything. I love layering and using my dies. I recently purchased a silhouette cameo and it fits in perfectly with all of my card making. I love surprising friends and family with cards. So if you are on my mailing list, you never know when you will get a card out of the blue. My other hobbies are reading and surfing the web.”

Happy Wednesday! It’s challenge day here again at The House That Stamps Built. Not only do I have a new sketch for you… we also have a special guest artist on board!
Please help us in welcoming Vicky Mansfield. Vicky will be joining the RI Rock Stars for our challenges all month. Vicky says “I have loved art since my first box of crayons and beading loom. My first experience with stamping was with my daughter about 10 years ago , we made her wedding invitations, we heat embossed gold hearts and a sentiment, then cut the edges with fancy scissors and sea sponged gold paint on that edge. I was hooked from that first embossing. My stamps and supplies have grown with my love for stamping. My other interests are drawing, watercolor, beadwork, crochet, card making , ATC’s, LTC’s , carving stamps, paper mache, and many other variations of these themes.”
