Here are all the details…
1. Create a card that includes heat embossing. Remember, your card does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would reeeally love to see them! Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!
2. Post your DCC card on your blog or online gallery and be sure to reference Repeat Impressions DCC21 Designer’s Choice Challenge. Then link it here with the inlinkz widget below. (Please provide a direct link to your post, not the entire blog.)
3. Submissions will be accepted until Tuesday, February 14th at 5PM EST.
4. On February 15th we will introduce a new Designer’s Choice Challenge (DCC) to play along with and after that challenge wraps up we’ll announce the winner for February. For this challenge the winner will receive any one unmounted sheet of stamps of their choice!

I have one other important announcement to make today… Unfortunately it’s time to bid farewell to Rock Star, Vicki Dutcher. Vicki has created many wonderful cards for us in the past few months and we feel so fortunate to have gotten to know her. We are sorry to see her go, but we know we’ll be keeping up with this talented lady’s great creations in blogland. I’ll especially miss the fabulous way she has with color. All the best to you, Vicki, and thank you for helping to make this blog a great place to get inspired!

Do we have any Texas stampers out there? This week marks the official start to our show season. We’re all packed up and headed south now for our first stamp show of the year in Mesquite, TX. We’ll be at the Mesquite Convention Center this Saturday and Sunday for the StampScrapArtTour show. I’ll be teaching at the Make & Take Project Party on Friday night too. Cheri Weston

Although we have yet to meet in person, Cheri and I have been having fun getting to know each other via email for the last couple of weeks. It is interesting that our paths hadn’t crossed until now. As it turns out, we have a few stamping friends in common and we live less than an hour apart. How cool is that?! Cheri also happens to be on another DT with two of our current Rock Stars. It surely is a small world!

I asked Cheri to tell us a little about herself and this is what she had to say…

“I am grandmother to Philip 4 and Alexa 3 and I live in Central Maine. I was originally born and raised in the Adirondacks of New York State where I learned many crafts from my mother and grandmothers. I work part-time as a secretary for the local school district and fill in my non-work time with rubber stamps and paper.

While I’ve played with crafts all my life, I’ve never found one that has become such a passion as rubber stamping and paper crafts. I began this craft 4 years ago, when I thought I would like to make baby shower cards for my daughter-in-law’s baby shower. What a beginning!!! I made 50 invitations, and had a blast doing it and became totally hooked. After that I decided to take some classes in card making techniques at my local stamp store and the rest is history. I continue to develop my skill and feed my passion.

I am so thrilled to be selected as a DT member for Repeat Impressions. It is truly an honor to have the opportunity to represent a Maine rubber stamp company.”
