My how time flies… I can hardly believe today is the official first day of summer! Woohoo! Before I know it one of my favorite holidays will be upon us. I love celebrating the 4th of July… a special day to watch my little niece twirl her baton in the parade, then gather with family and friends by the lake for some fun in the sun, cook-out and fireworks… time to celebrate the red, white and blue! So this week I’m getting in the spirit by offering our #3704-I Land of the Free image for our Stamp of the Week feature.
Check out all the wonderful pieces created by our Rock Stars to inspire you. If these don’t put you in a patriotic spirit then I don’t know what will! And don’t forget to leave us all a little love too… we love to hear your comments!
This stamp is available exclusively to our blog readers at 50% OFF from June 21 - June 27, 2010 only. (Limited to 1 per person please.) If you would like to purchase this stamp please click on this Land of the Free link and scroll down the page a bit. To receive your special discount please be sure to reference SOTW621 in the Special Instructions section of the online order form. PLEASE NOTE: The discount WILL NOT appear when you place your order. Once your order is ready to be shipped WE WILL apply the discount and process your credit card at that time. I will also send you a follow-up email to let you know your final adjusted total.

There will be no Easter eggs to hunt for here at The House That Stamps Built this weekend. The only eggs in my immediate future will be served up scrambled and topped with a little of my favorite habanero lime salsa!
Nope, instead I’ll be hunting for something far more exciting than dyed eggs… It’s time to revisit my email inbox and search through our Design Team Call submissions. And since I’ve seen quite a lot of creativity rolling in lately, I’m thinking it’s got to be lots easier to hide or hunt for eggs than trying to choose new DT members. I think I’d rather trade jobs with the Easter Bunny!
The adorable Easter card shown here was created for us by Sandy Hulsart, one of our past DT members. Sandy used our stamps #1310-G Just Hatched, #1305-G Eggs-tra Special and #4507-J Easter Balloons. You can see more of the wonderful cards Sandy has created for us by visiting her Repeat Impressions gallery page and also by checking out her blog.
Hope you’re having a fabulous holiday weekend and thanks for stopping by!
Wendy
