 Scenic, Stamp of the Week
Aug 302010

I can’t believe it’s the last Monday of August already! Where did the summer go? The transition of seasons usually puts me in a contemplative mood so I thought our peaceful #2908-I Shade of the Elm image would be perfect for this week’s Stamp of the Week offering.

Just look at the beautiful cards created by our Rock Stars to inspire you this week! Be sure to visit their individual blogs as well for details on techniques and materials used. And don’t forget to leave us a comment… we always love to hear your feedback!

Whew! It’s been a whirlwind of activity at Repeat Impressions lately! Back to back blog hops, two new stamp series releases in two weeks, plus stamp shows every other weekend… I’m all tuckered out! No time to catch my breath just yet though… it’s time to officially release our new Snow Globes & Ornaments series, announce the winner of our latest hop, and reveal this week’s Stamp of the Week special!

First of all let’s all give a big round of applause and a shout out to Repeat’s Rock Stars! Woohoo!! These ladies really outdid themselves with the hops don’t you think?! I can’t tell you enough how much fun it was for me to create these new stamp designs and have them brought to life by this wonderfully talented group! You all really rocked it!! 🙂

So the wait is over for those of you who feel you have been teased enough. Our new Snow Globes & Ornaments series is now available for purchase! Just click here to start shopping.

Also, one of our lucky blog hoppers is about to win a free unmounted sheet of this latest series! We were all so pleased by your response to our hops and all the kind comments about the new designs and card samples. 🙂 Thank you so much to all those who took the time to play along! And now… drum roll please… the winner of the blog hop candy is Kelly Guodace! Congrats, Kelly and happy stamping! Please contact me with your mailing address so we can get that new sheet of rubber on it’s way to you.

And now we return to our regularly scheduled blog post. 😉
Happy Monday everyone! It’s time for another Stamp of the Week. This week’s offering is our stamp #2606-J Forty Winks. Is there anything more relaxed than a sleeping cat?! Since I have two of my own and they seem to spend 85% of their time napping, I’d have to guess “No there isn’t.” But maybe I’m just jealous since I haven’t had a nap in like 30 years!

Here are the wonderful cards the Rock Stars have provided for your inspiration this week. And please don’t forget to leave comments… we all love to hear your feedback!

Another Sneak Peek Blog Hop!

 Blog Hop, Holidays
Aug 182010

Happy Wednesday! Welcome to another exciting day at The House That Stamps Built. 🙂 We had so much fun last week with our first blog hop that we’ve decided to do it again! And… we’re giving you a sneak peek at yet another NEW series of Christmas stamps! Can you believe it?!

But before we get started I have a couple of announcements to make. First of all… those adorable Christmas Penguins stamps we teased you with are now available for purchase on our website! Woohoo!! You will find them both mounted and unmounted individually and also on an unmounted sheet here… http://www.repeatimpressions.com/chrstmsp.html

Speaking of unmounted sheets… one of our lucky blog hoppers is about to win a sheet of the Christmas Penguins just for playing along with our little game. After collecting all the key words from each blog the correct phrase was “Visit us again Wednesday for another new stamp release hop.”

I am happy to report that 99.9% of you answered correctly. 🙂 From those of you who submitted the correct phrase we let random.org pick our winner. So without further ado… the lucky winner is… Kristy Smith! Congrats, Kristy you just scored a sheet of our wonderful Christmas Penguins!

And now let the new hop begin! Snow Globes & Ornaments is the focus of this newest series. The card shown here was created by Rock Star, Darsie Bruno and gives you just a small, but wonderful peek of what you will see along the hop.

"Moose Snow Globe" card created by Darsie Bruno.

The rules of this hop are just a tiny bit different from our last one. To participate in this hop all you have to do is visit the blogs of all our Rock Stars. (I have provided their links below, but do be sure to refer to their RI Blog Hop posts if you are joining in later in the week.) On each blog, you will find a key word. After you collect all the words you will use them to create a phrase. Then email me ([email protected]) with the correct phrase to be eligible for the blog candy.

You can double your chances of winning and earn yourself TWO chances for the blog candy if you also leave a comment on each blog, including this one! You must complete the hop and email me the phrase (and optionally leave all your comments) no later than 10 p.m. est on Sunday, August 22nd. The blog candy for this hop … an unmounted sheet of the new Snow Globes & Ornaments, of course!

The complete line of new Snow Globes & Ornaments stamps will be available for viewing on the Repeat Impressions website next Monday, August 23rd. I will provide a direct link here and also announce the winner of the blog candy on my Monday blog post.

I think you will really have fun with this hop too. The Rock Stars have created some beautiful cards to introduce the new line. 🙂 Here are the links to all their blogs…
