Pick of the Week ~ Throw Back Winter Card

Hello. It’s my turn to do a Pick of the Week and I’m doing another throw back project. The Repeat Impressions’ stamps I used are… 2719-K, Lg Pine Tree and 1507-J, Grass Border.

I love how this frosty sunrise turned out and thought it was good enough for a do over. I did spritz this with some Imagine sheer shimmer spray in sparkle, but of course it doesn’t show up in the photo. In real life it sparkles really prettily. The sunrise was created using distress oxide inks. I stamped the grass and tree in gray and white inks and highlighted it with white paint pen to give it that frosty look. I used a Copic multiliner pen to hand draw the birds in.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Pick of the Week ~ First Card As A Rock Star

Good morning!

I am up on the Repeat Impressions’ blog today with my Pick of the Week. I was feeling a bit nostalgic, and thought it would be fun to post my very first post for Wendy and her fabulous ‘Rock Star‘ family! Team members have changed over the years, but this has always been the best team to be a part of! There’s never been any drama, or Debbie Downer’s - the team has always pulled together, worked together, and shared together, and I’m so happy to have been a part of it all!

Enough nostalgia - this post went live on May 2, 2012 - 9 1/2 years ago! Enjoy!

I promised you some big news, so here it is…I’m a Rock Star! As of today, I am officially a member of the Repeat Impressions Design Team, the Rockstars, and just in time for the “What If ? Wednesday Sketch Challenge” at the Repeat Impressions Blog, “The House That Stamps Built”.

Here is Wendy’s fabulous sketch:

Designs Pure Luxury White CS, Scrap of black & scrap of purple CS., Perfect Layers Tools, Bling from the Michael’s $1 bin.

I won’t bore you with the details - this card is pretty self explanatory!
Head on over the The House That Stamps Built Blog, and see what the rest of the Rock Stars have created with this great sketch… We’d love to see YOUR take on the sketch, and you might win some awesome stamps! Repeat Impressions Stamps do not have to be used, but we’d love to see them if you have them… AND you will get an extra entry in the random drawing if you use a RI image!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs and grins,
Patti J.
