Hello crafty friends— Esther here with my project for Pick of the Week. Today I’m sharing some bright, tropical looking cards that feature the embossing resist technique on glossy photo paper.

Here’s how I created my flowers and leaves:
1. Stamped the 5016-N, Genealogy stamp in versamark ink on glossy paper
2. Added white embossing powder and heat set
3. Die cut leaves and flowers

4. Inked my leaves and flowers in brightly colored distress oxide inks
5. Wiped over the embossing with a clean, dry cloth to remove any excess ink
6. Shaped my flowers using a stylus and craft molding mat

I created the oval frame using the same method as above - stamping, embossing, sponging with ink on glossy paper.

Since glossy paper is slippery — I used a hot glue gun to assemble my flowers, add the tiny pearls to their centers, and glue them to my card.
