Hi — today I get to do the Project of the Week for Repeat Impression! It is going to be paper piercing - so here we go.
There are several way to paper pierce - Tim Holtz has a ruler that has tiny little holes…
sometimes you can find steel dies that paper pierce…
or you can use plastic canvas templates.
The canvas templates are very cheap, come in many sizes and shapes. I find that they are easy to line up.
Here are two cards made
and
On the second card I used the steel piercing and the plastic canvas die - can you guess which circle I used the steel die on? In your comments put your guess — I’ll let you know. If you are right, I’ll mail you some of the plastic canvas dies. (I have plenty to share) - Please leave your email, so I can let you know.
Thanks for looking at my project.
Stamps used for the cards:
#1307-E Thanks a Bunch sentiment and check back for the soon to be released flower image!!
Wine Glasses from Wine for Two stamp #9507-P and sentiment #9509-F Cheers
Be sure to check out our latest challenge while you’re here!

Lovely cards. I always forget to use paper piercing. You used the steel die on the circle with wine glasses.

Great ideas! Great cards, too!
The cards are beautiful, I think the one with the die is the larger circle with the glasses, it is really hard to tell. Thanks for sharing your talent.
I think the circle using the steel die is the one containing the wine glasses. Guessing this because the perforations are closer together.
I love what you’ve done. And I agree, I think the larger circle was done with the steel dies because they seem to be more consistent in their depth of piercing. Thank you for reminding us of this easy peasy embellishment.
I love to do piercing. It’s kinda relaxing when you get going. I think you used the steel die on the circle with the wine glasses.
I agree too! I think it’s the steel dies. Wish I had some of the plastic ones to play with lol. TFS!
Oops missed part of the answer…It’s the one with the glasses.

Steel die for the wine glasses. They are spaced closer together but very well done. I’ll have to try the plastic canvas idea.
