You read right, it’s time for a new Project of the Week! It’s my turn (Deonna) and I’ve chosen to make a St. Patricks Day card to share with a bunny and clover. What fun!
This card is made using a fold that is new to me. It is called a “Double Dutch Card” and you can find the complete tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers by clicking this link.
Supplies needed:
Card stock for base card
Decorative paper
Paper trimmer
Scoring tool
Stamps from Repeat Impressions… 702-K Clover Bunny, 5119-I Shamrock Silhouette (lg), 1135-E St. Patrick’s sentiment
Copic Markers
Scissors
Oval Spellbinders Dies
Pop Dots
To create your card:
1. Complete your card base in whatever color of card stock that you prefer by following the Double Dutch Card tutorial.
2. Apply decorative paper to the front flaps of the card as desired.
3. Stamp shamrock silhouettes with green ink onto white card stock and cut out with scissors.
4. Stamp bunny and color with Copic markers.
5. Die-cut bunny using oval Spellbinders die and one larger die for behind the image in whatever color that you prefer. Then apply adhesive to the top half of the oval die and apply to the front of your card.
6. Apply pop dots to the far outer side of the shamrocks, apply slightly overlapping them over your oval die-cut. This will keep your card closed. That’s it! Decorate as desired.
Have a Wonderful Week!
Deonna
