Happy May Day! We have lots to share with you today as we ring in this new month… a new challenge, a challenge winner, a new guest artist, and a fond farewell.
First… please help us in welcoming Sarah Preston. Sarah will be joining the RI Rock Stars for our challenges all month. I asked Sarah to tell us a little about herself and this is what she had to say…
“I live in Michigan with my husband of 22 years. We have a 21 year old son who is away at college most of the year. I work part time at the local public school as a cook.
I have been stamping and making cards for close to 25 years. My style is more cutesy than anything. I love layering and using my dies. I recently purchased a silhouette cameo and it fits in perfectly with all of my card making. I love surprising friends and family with cards. So if you are on my mailing list, you never know when you will get a card out of the blue. My other hobbies are reading and surfing the web.”
And here is the sketch I designed to inspire you all this week.
Repeat Impressions Sketch M113
Check out all the great cards that Sarah and the Rock Stars created with it! Sarah was so inspired, she submitted two cards for this challenge! 🙂

And now it’s your turn! The rules are really simple… Your card doesn’t even have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would really love to see them! 😀 Plus you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions! Simply create a card based on my sketch, upload your card to your blog or Splitcoast gallery, then link your card here to this post by clicking on the little blue button below.
We will be accepting submissions to this M113 Sketch Challenge until 5pm EST on May 14th. All participants will be automatically entered into our random drawing. Then on May 15th we will post a new challenge and when that challenge wraps up at the end of the month we’ll announce the winner for May. One lucky person will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate!
So what are you waiting for?! Why not play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations! When you are ready to share your card, please add the direct link to your entry using the link button below. And please be sure to provide a link back here and reference Repeat Impressions Sketch M113 in your blog or gallery posting.
Today we’re also announcing the winner of our April sketch challenges. As usual, we let random.org select the lucky recipient of our $25 Gift Certificate. So without further ado… drum roll please… this time that person is… Kathy Curry! Congratulations, Kathy and happy
shopping! Please leave a comment on this post and I will get your certificate on it’s way.
Don’t forget… we also have a fun Designer’s Choice Challenge going on now too! Our Rock Star hostess, Deonna Bemish has a fun style challenge for you this time. Please visit my DCC424 ~ Shaped Cards post for all the details and great inspiration cards from the Rock Stars.
And last, but not least… today we bid a fond farewell to Rock Star, Geri Utterback. I’m sure you will all agree that it has been a great pleasure getting to know Geri and seeing all the beautiful cards she has created with Repeat’s stamps. You rock, Geri and thank you for all the inspiration! We’ll miss you! We wish you all the best and hope to keep in touch with you in blog land.
Thanks to all for spending time with us here this week. We hope you’ve been inspired and look forward to seeing your sketch masterpiece linked here soon!
Until then… happy stamping!
Wendy
