Pick of the Week ~ Quick Quartet Card

Happy Wednesday, stamping friends! I hope you’re having a great summer so far. My goodness it has been freakishly hot and humid here in Maine lately. Card making may be the furthest thing from your mind at this time of year, but if you are in need of quick and easy card ideas then our Quartet Series of stamps may fit the bill.

Our Quartet Series includes 12 different designs. These stamps are wonderfully versatile 4″x4″ designs divided into 4 equal quarters. Quartets make it easy to stamp up a neat card that can be as simple or as complex as you wish. Keep it monochromatic or make it colorful. Use it as is or add layers, pop outs, photos, or other embellishments.

For today’s Pick of the Week I’ve chosen to create a card using our Sunny Quartet stamp. For this example I’m keeping it super simple and using very few supplies too.

I stamped the image in black ink on white card stock and added just a bit of color using yellow and pink markers. I then layered my white card stock on a sunny yellow card base.

And just to kick it up a notch, I added little pink gems to the centers of the white flowers on the flip flops.

Here’s a closer look.

As a final touch I stamped our Smiley Shades on white card stock, punched it out with a circle punch and then added it to the center of my card using a pop dot for a little more dimension.
